On this page, you will be able to find various projects I have been involved in for clients while working for Marin Marketing as a Marketing Assistant. In addition, I have attached projects from the event marketing classes at Seneca College; these documents include integrated marketing plans, experiential marketing campaigns and videography projects. 

 

In + Around Kleinburg 

Marin Marketing

 

Presented by Jerry Celenza and the Remax team, In + Around Kleinburg is an online source that engages readers with blogs that speak to them in a personal level. This online blog informs readers with information about what is happening in and around the Kleinburg Community.

Blogs include activities taking place in the GTA, special dates, insights into the Kleinburg businesses and owners, tips and information about home trends amogst others. 

 

In addition to sourcing and editing content, I update the blog biweekly and send out a newsletter to clients and their corresponding databases to notify them of the new content. 

Kleinburg Village

Kleinburg Village is unincorporated village in the city of Vaughan. Through Marin Marketing I handled the social media sites for Kleinburg, this included Twitter and Facebook. 

Content was mostly aimed at promoting local businesses, events and fun facts. 

In the time I was involved with this account, we saw an increase of following by 3%

Marin Marketing is a one stop marketing and advertising agency that focuses on helping businesses achieve their goals through brand & positioning. social media and digital marketing, creative advertising and in house solutions. 

 

Although we aim to help others fulfill their goals and objectives, we strive to maintain a connection with our followers and market our own business as well. Throughout the time I have been working with Marin Marketing we have been able to  raise the number of followers by 1%

 

Chrome

Marin Marketing

 

CHROME is a state-of-the-art design contracting company specializing in full service contracting and design consultancy. Through Marin Marketing I handled their twitter account.

 

The focus of the tweets were the latest home design trends and DIY inspiration for a sleek and modern approach to home renovations, as well as brand promotion. 

Throughout the time I have been involved with this account, we have seen an increase of following by 1.5%

 

 

Jose Alves

Marin Marketing

 

Jose Alves is a mortgage agent with Dominion Lending Centres in the Toronto Area. As a Marin Marketing client, all of his accounts were managed by me and the content shared highlighted fun family activity ideas, do it yourself home projects and tips to help families save money. 

 

 

Cedar Brae Golf Club 

Marin Marketing 

 

Cedar Brae Glob Club is a private club in the Toronto area. The Club has been active for over 90 years, and its location by the Rouge River Valley it has become one of the finest, most picturesque clubs in the area. As a previous client of Marin Marketing I handled their social media accounts.

 

Tweets created aimed to inform followers of golf tips, golf historic statistics and players, golf news and promotional information about the club.

In a period of three months, the account following increased by 9.5%

 

Social Media Campaign: Twitter

Re-Volt Bikes

 

As part of my volunteering activities, I was involved with Re-Volt Electric Bikes, a new company in Panama City, Panama. When I took over the project of increasing product awareness and twitter following, the company only had 1 tweet and 4 followers. 

 

In the month and a half that I volunteered with them, I was able to show outstanding results. 

Through the development of informational, educational, entertaining and promotional tweets I was able to raise the audience interaction and increase followers by 12%

 

Breaking News Digital Marketing Initiative

As the final project for Digital and Media Applications, we needed to create a video that engaged the audience and promoted the Pan Am Games in Markham. 

 

Created as a news broadcast, the video will capture audiences' attention and it will engage with them by asking them to participate in a social media campaign that will take place around York Region.

In order to learn how to create digital marketing content through videos, our task was to create, direct, produce and edit captured video footage, place into a movie template. 

The main goals of this project were to:

  • Produce written treatments that bring to life promotional online video ideas.

  • Effectively pitch promotional video ideas to clients’ in the event marketing industry.

After discussing different ideas, we decided to create a video that would portray the main worries and struggles of students. 

Viva Pan Am Flash Mob Marketing Initiative 

SEA 200 Arts, Entertainment & Cultural Marketing 

 

 

With the Pan Am & Parapan Games coming to Markham in the summer of 2015, the City of Markham has created a 15 day multi-cultural festival called “Markham Global Fest.”  As a new festival in Markham, the main goal is to attract audiences and raise awareness within the community of such event.

 

In order to accomplish the goals and objectives of The City of Markham, we were responsible for developing the Flash Mob initiative that would raise awareness and create excitement within Markham residents for the up and coming festival, as well as the Pan Am/ Parapan Am Games. 

Integrated Marketing Communications Plan  

SEA 235 Digital & Media Applications

 

The task was to develop an Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) plan for the Festival of Americas - a festival celebrating the diverse cultures in relation to the TO2015 PanAmerican & Parapan games for the City of Markham.

 

After determining different marketing strategies, we prepared a budget, media advisory, and media release. This project was presented to our class, and professors, as well as to the Director of Corporate Communications and Community Engagement for the City of Markham.

SEA 225 Sport & Event Marketing II

 

In order to increase attendance and on campus awareness, as well as student support, the Athletics department at Seneca College asked the Event Marketing students to create different proposals which would be strictly pre-event and would aim to increase attendance and generate a level of excitement about the games, specially the game on February 11, 2015 between the Loyalist Lancers and Seneca Stings. 

 

After defining the goals and objectives our marketing campaign, we created a multifaceted marketing approach that incorporated experiential marketing, social media marketing and traditional marketing strategies.

T & T Conference Proposal & RFT Sample 

SEA 135 Event Planning & Logistics 

 

As part of the event planning and logisitics curriculum we were responsible for coming up with a conference concept that would be implemented in the Spring of 2015.  

 

As a team, we created the The T&T Conference which refers to the “Trials and Triumphs” industry professionals have experienced throughout their work in the industry. The TRIAL and TRIUMPH aspect of our conference focuses on the experimental actions in the workplace in order to ascertain result and it focuses on allowing industry professionals to engage, network and educate themselves on how to build and maintain a successful event.
